YMCA Camp Kitaki is known for its overnight campouts, outdoor education programs, retreats and more.  As the Assistant Property Director, you will work for a leading provider of these programs that have left a lasting impression on thousands of kids and adults for over 70 years.  You would be essential to creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment for all.    Imagine going to work knowing that what you do each day positively affects so many people!

 

 Responsibilities include performing and overseeing general and preventative building/property maintenance and repairs including but not limited to:

  • Assists with general and preventative building/property maintenance and repairs.  Performs tasks related to the preventative maintenance plan as well as inspecting and identifying areas or equipment in need of repair, troubleshooting issues, determining what needs to be done and then performing the necessary repairs or working with supervisor to contract out as needed.
  • Performs grounds maintenance such as cleaning trash, debris and snow around the property and maintaining landscaping, trees, grass, etc.
  • Assists with supply inventory and purchases.
  • Interacts and communicates with guests and participants to build relationships, assist with facility requests/concerns, and provide information.
  • Assumes a lead role in providing leadership and direction to part-time staff in the performance of their duties.
  • Assists with housekeeping functions as needed.
